Cypress Semiconductor chose DPACI to be Backend Limited Manufacturing Partner

DPA Components International is pleased to announce a partnership with Cypress Semiconductor to provide services and finished product to the Military and Space markets.  This partnership started more than 20 months ago.  Cypress chose DPACI to provide processing, packaging and test services to support an array of Cypress die for the target market.  DPACI operates with the complete cooperation of Cypress Semiconductor and takes direction for this joint effort from the Cypress Military and Space Marketing Group.

This partnership was initiated to provide the market with the newest Cypress Static Ram products fully qualified for space.  The Military and Space market will now have a factory direct Static Ram die supplier working with a CONUS MIL-PRF-38535 qualified Level Q and V assembly and test facility.

As a partner with Cypress, DPACI will be given access to Cypress die/wafer in support of Military and Space programs, including die/wafer banking for EOL and long-term support procurements.

DPACI also supports other than Cypress products for Military and Space applications, including die/wafer, monolithic packaged parts, multi-chip modules and hybrids.

DPACI Finalizes Strategic Alliance with Die Delivery and Services - Die & Wafer Supplier

DPA Components Intl. Components International (otherwise known as DPACI) and Die Delivery and Services (DD & S), bare die and wafer memory specialists, have agreed to support each other in business referrals and technical assistance. DD & S is an Authorized Reseller of non-packaged, semiconductor die and wafers.

They are the sole authorized supplier of bare die and wafers for Samsung memory products in North America and supplier for Toshiba, Renesas, Cypress, Alliance, Hynix, Elpida and Atmel as well.

This will facilitate DPACI's access of bare die and wafers, especially in memory products which will ease the burden of allocation to our military/space customers. For example, DRAM products are now fully available.
